Who we are
Oasis du Port de Québec is a one-of-a-kind recreational and tourism destination that opened on July 1, 2022, in the heart of Québec City’s port district. As North America’s first urban port swimming facility, the project was inspired by community input and brought to life through a collaboration between the Port of Québec, the Société des Gens de Baignade, and the non-profit organization Expérience Saint-Laurent, which oversees its operations.
Free and open to everyone, Oasis is a vibrant and inclusive gathering place where visitors can enjoy a swim with family and friends, take a leisurely dip, or train in our Olympic-length swimming lanes.
It is also the perfect destination for an unforgettable evening by the water, offering breathtaking views of some of Québec City’s most spectacular sunsets along the Port of Québec marina. With activities and entertainment taking place seven days a week, the atmosphere is always lively, welcoming, and memorable.
