Port of Québec Oasis offers an unforgettable swimming experience in the St. Lawrence River!

First harbour bath in North America, its swimming lanes and swimming area make it a unique site to enjoy the pleasures of the summer season.

  • Swimming at Oasis du Port de Québec is available from Wednesday to Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on weekends from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., from June 19 to August 30.
  • Access to the site, swimming lanes, and the port swimming area is free of charge.
  • Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult and must successfully complete a swimming ability assessment in order to swim without a flotation device.
  • Children aged 7 and under must wear a flotation device at all times.
  • No glass containers are permitted on site.
  • All animals must be kept on a leash at all times.
  • Swimming is prohibited for individuals experiencing diarrhea, contagious skin lesions, or any other condition that may pose a risk of infection or water contamination.
  • It is also prohibited to repeatedly and intentionally hold one’s breath for extended periods, except as part of a supervised activity.

Good news: Swimming at Oasis is 100% free!

Access to the site, swimming lanes, and the port swimming area is completely free throughout the season. Only open-water swimming lessons are subject to a fee.

Every Tuesday and Thursday

  • Open Water Swimming (5:00 p.m. to 5:50 p.m.) – Supervised training in a natural environment
  • Adult Level 3 (6:00 p.m. to 6:50 p.m.) – Technique improvement and endurance training

Every Friday

  • Open Water Swimming (8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.) – Supervised training in a natural environment

Every Saturday

  • Water Yoga (9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.)

Universal Accessibility

The Oasis site continues its efforts toward universal accessibility in order to provide a welcoming and enjoyable experience for as many people as possible.

You will now find newly adapted changing rooms as well as accessible showers. In addition, our docks are accessible to visitors with reduced mobility when accompanied, thanks to our adapted gangway.
