About Us

Looking for things to do this summer in Québec City? The Port of Québec Oasis invites you to enjoy an unforgettable swimming experience in a natural environment in the St. Lawrence River. Located at the Port of Quebec in Louise Basin, a swimming area, Olympic-sized swimming lanes, relaxation areas and unique facilities are all free to the public to take a break and get refreshed this summer. Perfect for both friends and families, it is an ideal spot to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat on one of the most beautiful terraces in Old Québec while taking in the magnificent view of the Port of Québec Marina.

Who we are

The Port of Québec Oasis is a recreational tourism site at the Port de Québec that first opened on July 1, 2022. First harbour bath in North America, the project evolved out of suggestions from citizens. It is the result of a collaborative effort between the Port of Québec, the Société des Gens de Baignade and the non-profit organization Le Village Nordik. This organization also manages operations and programming of the site during the winter season, including ice fishing activities. Access to the Port of Québec Oasis is free, and the site is open every day from 10:30 am to 6 pm, from June to September. The terrace is open from 10:30 am to 10 pm.

**The site is now closed for the 2023 season. See you in 2024!**
